Who we are...
I am Kim Vithana. I trained at Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama gaining a BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts. I have worked as a professional actress in television, film and on stage for 28 years. I have appeared as a regular in many dramas including: Holby City, North Square, Midsomer Murders and Coronation Street. In the last year I have workshopped 'The Life of Pi' stage production under Max Webster. and also filmed a Netflix Original 'The Stranger' showing 30th January this year.
I have also designed, taught and directed screen acting modules at various accredited drama schools. I am now Head of Film and TV at ArtsED. Working as an actor has challenged my own confidence throughout my career and taught me how important it is to know yourself. I hope to pass this and my love for acting on to the students.
I am Jenny Pugh. I qualified with a BTEC & HNC in Performing Arts and subsequently went on to work with various theatre companies as a professional actor. I am a very enthusiastic musical theatre performer and I have previously performed in various London based shows. I still perform on stage with an adult musical theatre company competing in competitions around the country, which I absolutely love!
I currently work as a Project Manager designing and running community drama workshops working with a variety of children from diverse backgrounds, a wide age range and a varied ability spectrum. I also teach musical theatre and private LAMDA lessons at various stage schools which gives me the opportunity to choreograph and inspire performance in children. I believe that music and drama go hand in hand to provide children with key skills and confidence...as well as being fun.
