Working in schools...

Inspire Confidence. Unlock Potential. Enrich Your School.

At JK Performing Arts, we are passionate about bringing high-quality performing arts education directly into schools. Our programmes are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence and develop essential life skills, giving every child the opportunity to thrive.

We are delighted to offer a range of in-school provisions that complement your curriculum and enhance your pupils' educational experience.

LAMDA Tuition

Available for Reception to Year 11

We now offer LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) tuition during the school day for pupils from Reception through to Year 11.

LAMDA is one of the UK's most respected awarding organisations, with qualifications that develop communication, performance and public speaking skills through drama.

Lessons are engaging, inclusive and tailored to each child's age and ability, encouraging pupils to:

  • Build confidence and self-esteem

  • Develop clear speech and effective communication

  • Improve reading and comprehension skills

  • Enhance creativity and imagination

  • Strengthen memory and concentration

  • Develop teamwork and leadership skills

  • Grow resilience through performance opportunities

As pupils progress, they have the opportunity to work towards nationally recognised LAMDA examinations, receiving accredited qualifications that celebrate their achievements. Higher-level LAMDA qualifications can also contribute valuable UCAS points for future university applications.

Whether a child dreams of performing on stage or simply wants to become a more confident communicator, LAMDA equips them with skills that will benefit them throughout education and beyond.

Why Bring LAMDA Into Your School?

Introducing LAMDA as part of your school provision offers benefits that reach far beyond drama lessons.

Our programme helps schools to:

  • Enhance pupils' confidence across the curriculum

  • Support speaking, listening and oracy development

  • Encourage positive wellbeing and self-expression

  • Develop presentation and interview skills

  • Promote inclusion by engaging children of all abilities

  • Provide recognised qualifications within the school day

  • Enrich your wider curriculum and extra-curricular offer

Children who feel confident expressing themselves often become more engaged learners, stronger readers and more effective communicators across all subjects.

Breakfast & After School Clubs

We also deliver exciting Breakfast Clubs and After School Clubs in:

Drama Clubs

Our fun and engaging drama sessions allow children to explore storytelling, improvisation, character development and performance in a supportive environment. Every child is encouraged to shine, regardless of experience.

Musical Theatre Clubs

Perfect for children who love to sing, dance and act! Our Musical Theatre Clubs combine all three disciplines, helping pupils develop confidence, creativity and performance skills while having lots of fun.

Throughout the year, children may work towards performances that families and the wider school community can enjoy.
